Hello world.
If you know me in person and have ever read any of my previous blogs, hello again.
I blogged a lot starting in 2004 on Friendster, Myspace, occasionally Wordpress, but mostly right here on Blogger. I've made and written on so many blogs in the past (and deleted just as many).
Will it be different this time? Will I finally have a permanent blog?
I sure hope so.
Since having a job and a child, I now realize a bit of restraint in what I publish would do me good. I've deleted blogs in the past because I grew older and became embarrassed of what I wrote, so I hope reigning in the topics of my posts will this time make them less embarrassing later on in life.
For those of you who don't know me, here's a random tidbit: I basically find it hard to fall out of love with something. As a result, these are things from my childhood that I am still a fan of: (list incomplete)
(and these are from my childhood, mind you. The list of things I still love from my teenage years is even longer)
Of course I've grown up to love sensible grown-up things too, like museums and history books. I'm not a complete man-child, thank you very much.
So join me here as I regale you with the inner workings of my mind. Or don't, it makes no difference to me anymore. I no longer write to impress girls (I already married the girl who read my blog before) or to get an audience (alas, I've accepted the fact that I'm not the next breakthrough writer like my idol JK Rowling). I now write for me.
...and for my daughter as well. If people previously bequeathed their diaries to their children, I'd like this blog to be a way for my child to know me better later on.
That's all for tonight.
If there's an actual human reading this; "Hello! Why are you reading this blog?? Drop a comment below"
Adios.
